These terms apply to all bookings and stays at THE ROOST. By making a booking enquiry or staying with us, you agree to them.

Early check-in and late check-out may be possible depending on the day's occupancy. Please request it with our Reservations Team in advance; it cannot be guaranteed and may be chargeable.
3. Bookings and confirmation
- Enquiries and booking requests made through this website are requests, not confirmed reservations. Our Reservations Team will contact you to confirm availability, the final rate and payment.
- A booking is confirmed only once our Reservations Team has confirmed it to you directly.
- Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for every adult guest, as required under Indian law. Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa.
4. Rates, taxes and payment
- Rates are quoted per room, per night, in Indian Rupees (INR), and include breakfast.
- Applicable taxes are added to the room rate and shown before you confirm.
- Rates shown on the website are indicative and are confirmed by our Reservations Team at the time of booking. Rates may vary by season, demand and length of stay.
- Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation and amendment
Cancellation and amendment terms are confirmed by our Reservations Team when your booking is confirmed, and vary with rate type, season and length of stay. Please retain that confirmation. To cancel or amend a stay, contact the Reservations Team using the details in section 10.
6. Occupancy
- Rooms may only be occupied by the number of guests confirmed in the booking. Each room type has a stated maximum occupancy.
- Additional guests cannot be accommodated without prior agreement and may be chargeable.
- Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms without our knowledge.
7. Guest conduct
- We ask guests to respect other guests and our neighbours. Wallace Garden is a residential street; please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
- Smoking is not permitted inside guest rooms or indoor common areas.
- Illegal substances and activities are strictly prohibited.
- Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused to the property, furnishings or equipment during their stay.
- We reserve the right to refuse service, or to require a guest to leave, where conduct endangers or unreasonably disturbs others.
8. Luggage and valuables
Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Where a room safe or storage is provided, please use it for valuables. THE ROOST does not accept liability for loss of cash, jewellery or other valuables left unsecured.
9. Liability
THE ROOST is not liable for any loss, delay or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power or water interruption, transport disruption, weather, civil disturbance or acts of government. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
